Chemainus - The City of Murals

Chemainus is a quaint little town with murals on the shops. Most of the shops are gayly painted and you can follow the yellow footsteps around the town. We sat and watched two pan fluters and I bought a CD. And we sat and listened to an indian singing Simon and garfunkel songs while palying his guitar, We had lunch in a great little pub called the mandalon and we ate beef dip...which is like a hot beef roast roll served with a bowl of dipping sauce made from pan juices.....very very messy but yummy.....
They have a great little fish and chip shop there too
I love the atmosphere of this little town and would like to buy the pink shop and live there. I am hoping to go back....again, been there twice already, really really attached to this little place, It is called The City Of Murals, but i prefer to call it a town...reminds me of a sleepy little place where there is nothing beter to do than paint everything in sight.....im sure there will be more postings for this page....
